Sparrow housings were created by Sarthak Foundation Charitable Trust. Bird houses were made of the cardboard material. Sarthak Foundation has distributed 7500 sparrow houses till now to different houses, ngos and animal lovers. Sarthak foundation has also distributed more than 700 vessels for drinking water for birds in Bharuch district.
Sarthak Foundation Charitable trust has been organizing a camp in Bharuch district for the treatment of injured birds during the month of January. Around 50000 students from 50 schools are contacted by the members of sarthak Foundation. The students are informed about the harmful effects on birds and humans of irresponsible use of Dora during Uttrayan. The students are shared the helpline number for the treatment of injured birds so that they can call the members of the first aid camp regarding the treatment of the injured birds.
Sarthak Foundation has started a campaign since 2018 regarding the recovery of dora from roads, terraces and trees. With the help of students, Sarthak Foundation had recovered 150 kilogram dora in 2018 and 650 kilogram dora in 2019. For this prosperous work done by the students around 5000 students were given certificates for their motivation by the Bharuch Forest Department and Sarthak Foundation.
On January 2023 , 3000 students from 27 schools participated in collecting doras from terrace, building and trees so that they may not harm animals and birds. Total 1000 kilos of doras were collected with the help of students and volunteers from sarthak foundation which was the highest amount of doras collected by sarthak foundation in all of its campaigns till now.
