Our NGO is committed in providing medical assistance to injured animals. Whenever a request for medical attention of an animal is received our NGO team members reach the provided place and our first aid team member examines the extent of injury. According to the injury, first aid is provided to the injured animal which may include applying medication, dressing wound or plastering of injured part. In cases where injection maybe required a qualified doctor who is certified to give injection is contacted and brought to the provided address by our NGO team members. If the injury is severe then the animal is sent for further treatment to the nearby hospital for further treatment. Our NGO only sends the animals to the speciality hospitals that have been working for the treatment of animals for years. Karjan Panjrapol hospital is one such hospital that works for the treatment of badly injured animals. In the same way Chappad hospital is commited for the treatment of dogs.
Currently our team has two experience diploma first aid team members. We also have a hydraulic ambulance which provides better, easier and faster medical service to the animals compared to a normal ambulance. It is the only hydraulic ambulance in the Bharuch district.
The Trust only provides first aid & regular medical attention as it currently does not have its own hospital but the trust is trying to build a hospital of its own in the future with the help of gathered funds by donors and well-wishers. Land has been obtained in donation and based on the funds received primary work for the construction of the hospital has been started.
